Testimonials

This letter was presented by a parent of one of the Polly B Dancers. This is what dance is all about!

Why Polly B Dance Academy?

Anybody can get some space, create a studio and sell dance lessons to kids. Your studio provides so much more!

Talent, Heart and Drive embodies the Polly B experience. Children come to your studio as young, unfocused balls of energy looking for something fun. You and your staff take the time to teach them things they didn't know they came to dance for. First is respect. They must respect their teacher, their classmates, but most of all, themselves. That teaches them poise, grace, commitment, sharing and faith. Second is compassion. Your classes points them away from the "its all about me" mindset and shows them the possibilities when they work together. They start to learn how to put themselves in someone else's place. It also allows them to revel in each other's accomplishments. Third is that the only limits are the ones you create for yourself. No matter how old a dancer is or how long they have danced there is always something that they are convinced they cannot do. You focus dancers away from that with smaller steps and just the right amount of support and challenges. The amazement of dancers when they achieve something that they never thought they could do shows them that they can reach for more. Fourth and most important is how your studio helps them find the "Best of themselves". My daughter is such a shining example of that. The students learn more about themselves from you than their parents will ever realize.

Signed,
